I bought the wrong edition of a game and once I refunded it to my steam wallet, I’m now stuck in no money purgatory :(

I preordered Remnant 2 around 3-4PM AWST and shortly after starting the download I realised I had purchased the wrong edition due to brain rot. I refunded it pretty quickly and since I was planning on just immediately buying what I actually wanted I chose the “Refund directly into Steam Wallet” option. The refund’s gone through but I cannot access the money due to “Pending Funds” bullsh*t. I’m basically broke and can’t afford this purchase without that refund so thought I’d put the question out there:
What are the chances I have access to my money before the games release at 12PM AWST seeing as Valve or Steam or whoever has a very airy fairy “you might receive your money somewhere within the next 24 Hours but we won’t clarify anything and we don’t have a support hotline so cry about it” attitude about this.

Pending funds from refunds back to the wallet are usually released in 24 hours.

I know that but I guess I’m trying to narrow down the timeframe a bit, just trying to see whether I can get some of the pre-order bonuses or not

I hope you learned your lesson. You should always ask to refund back to original payment source, not exchange for store credit.
