Why are people selling csgo skins cheaper than the most expensive purchase orders?

As the title says. Im currently trying to buy a knife, so I set up a purchase order, higher than the other purchase orders. But still, instead of getting more money, people sell cheaper. Why? You are still missing out on money and it makes no difference, its still insta selling but for a higher price...I dont get it.

It all started with the 3rd party website bot owners getting scared and don't want this to happen...

They were laundering money and crypto using the Steam inventory system through their websites.

They're freaking out and trying to mass selling their stuff hoping not to get banned as well.

Afterwards, users started freaking out as well.
