Accepting Gifts

Hello! I was sent a gift awhile ago but didn’t accept them. When I accepted them from my email it said they were in my library but when i open steam they are nowhere to be found. Any suggestions? Do games disappear if you don’t accept them in time?

First, check the store page to see if it tells you that you own it.

Or use the search bar in you library to find it.

Gifts are only auto refunded after 30 days.

There are a few ways, but since you made your profile/games list private nobody else can confirm it.
1. From your profile page check out your games list and it should be there with 0 hours
2. At the top of the steam main window next to your wallet balance click your screen name/profile pic and go to Account details.
From the first section "Store & Purchase History" look at "View licenses and product key activations"
3. From your library tab scroll down to "UNCATEGORIZED" which is where new games will appear until you file them somewhere else, possibly multiple places. (I put them in year release according to their steam store page, their publisher and developer company names, the kind of game they are and/or what they feature and finally if they're part of a series that gets its own category.
