Oblivion game overlay button not working

The enable the steam overlay in game button isn't working on the settings for the game oblivion in steam. I have reset my computer and I have even uninstalled and reinstalled steam and to no avail.

Oblivion is special, any setting on steam.exe can lead to security issue with morrownid and Oblivion.

Even skyrim own forum told bethesda user dont have any setting on skyrim.exe

so dont have have any settings needed for other games on steam.exe, if this change though timeline so be it,

steam overlay also work through steam firewall open ports, so move to new isp or location can effect this , they call it VIP portal and user need open steam ports, i doubt its that but could be.

and ask in Oblivion game HUB, you might be lucky if someone know this or search in old post, i know it there last time i play Oblivion

game working and my overlay ingame also work.

win10 np, do not have previous OS, it aient going to be fixed is you have steam service windows issue, steam has ende win7/8. so i doubt they will fix anything if its to complicated to fix and if it is a win7/8 issue at all.
