Steam's Salien

I joined Steam on 2020 i think but i heard there was an event known as SALIEN...
And literally ... there is a Showcase specifically for it, and me not having any rank on it, annoys me! I don't care for free xp or games, i just want to get my own experience on that game...

So... is there any chance that thing come back again...?!

The Saliens were a failure and Valve just didn't do anything with it after that particular summer sale ended. Like many other failures, they simply dropped them and ignored their existence from that point forward.

ugh, i wish valve just remove the showcase for salien thingy and be done with it,
instead of it, giving another game collector or idk...achievement slot... etc.

That event as any other had been Python-coded. These sort of events could always be exploited and hacked (cheated) for maximum win and outcome. There wont appear such events (minigames) anymore, until they find a "anticheating" fix. Is is sad indeed.

fwiw, I was able to update my Salien. Couldn't for a long time, but I just tried it for the first time in a very long time and it worked. Might give it a try to see if it's working for you also..
