Hey uh I kinda ran into trouble with money lately so my budget decreased and I wanted to know what you though of this pc I found

TJJ Gank Gaming PC Desktop Computer – Intel i7 3.40 GHz, NVIDIA GTX 1060 3GB (Beat GTX 1650), 16GB RAM, 1TB NVME SSD, WiFi 6 & Bluetooth 5.2, RGB Keyboard & Mouse & Speaker, 6 RGB Fans, Win 10 Pro https://a.co/d/7QFo3Ks
Was gonna suggest this as this is better for you for $500, but out of stock it seem.

The only reason I don't recommend the system you link is because using a intel 3rd gen that release in 2012, not because of age, but because you could've gotten something newer, and better for yourself, as well better gpu. My suggestion if can save a little more like $100 ~ $200 might grab a good one that that within the $600 ~ $700 price range, and will last you a long time.

Do you think this be able to run spider man and god of war pretty well with a acer monitor I bought
Now to answer the question with the link you posted, yes it can play those games, but you could've got something that gives you double the performance that means double the FPS in game, and more VRAM on the gpu as it the one you link is 1060 3GB, compare to 3060 12GB that 4x the VRAM so you can play the newest most demanding games without problems.

Would you say newegg is a trustworthy site? cause I've be hearing a lot of bad things about it so I wanted to know what you thought of the website cause you sent me that link

Newegg fine just be aware what states comes with the product, there people that uses the marketplace, trying to sell over price PCs that for old hardware that don't come with GPU, or sell a cheap GPU with old hardware.

I give you some info to look for.

For CPU ether it's Intel the 11th gen, or newer. or AMD Ryzen 5th gen or newer.

To know what the Intel gen are the 1st one, or two digits numbers tell you, the last 3 digits just the series, newest gen out right now is 13.

Example 8th gen i7 8700 as see the 1st number is 8 that the gen.
Example 11th gen i7 11700 as can seee the 1st two numbers is 11 that the gen,

Intel has tier with the i seires such as i3, i5, i7, and i9.
i3 start at 100 ~ 350
i5 start at 400 ~ 650
i7 start at 700 ~ 850
i9 start at 850 ~ 950

For AMD same as above, they have R3, R5, R7, and R9, the newest gen for AMD ryzen is 7th gen.

Example 1st gen is R7 1800 as can see 1st number is 1 that the gen.
Example 5th gen is R7 5700 as can see 1st number is 5 that the gen.

AMD tier with the R series such as R3, R5, R7, and R9.
R3 start at 100 ~ 350
R5 start at 400 ~ 650
R7 start at 700 ~ 950
R9 start at 850 ~ 990

So this cover the CPU so you know how recent something is for desktop, and tier they're in, reason why higher tier is the amount of cores you get in each tier, for 9th gen i3 intel, and 1st gen R3 AMD they start at 4 cores, when go to i5 / R5 you get 6 cores, or more, i7 / R7 start at 8 cores, or more, and i9 / R9 start at 8 cores, or more. To know specs about a CPU all have do is type in google name of cpu, and it should show you all info you wanna know about it, such cores, and such.

For GPU they don't really have a tier system, they just call it low, mid, high, and enthusiast. You can compare GPU by google search type in gpu number example "rtx 2070 vs RX 5700" that basically it, and will show videos, or site that does comparing for you.

Nvidia latest GPU is RTX 4000 series as notice 4 is the series, and 3 numbers at the end is seires, the higher the better in the series, same with AMD as their latest GPU is RX 7000 seires.

I only recommend getting CPU from either intel 11th gen, or newer, or AMD 5th gen, or newer.
I only recoommend getting GPU from either Nvidia RTX 3600, or better, or AMD RX 6700, or better. Again you compare these things doing a google search.

Don't go below 16GB of RAM, and storage don't matter too much as can always add extra storage whenever you want for cheap that like around $50+ for 1TB SSD that meet all your needs.

If got any more questions, feel free to ask. If you wanna build your own PC picking out the parts, can always ask for help, and someone will help you out, can use site like https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ to help find best deals from all stores, and even explain somethings if there any issues.

Hmm okay heating you say that is reassuring I was planning on getting a pc from Amazon on prime day so then they be cheaper but do you actually believe the pc you showed is legit and not a scam I guess I could buy that one instead

It might be better to purchase locally than ship stuff from Newegg (USA) to Japan.

So basically check the page what it tells you what it comes with, what you're looking for is what CPU it comes with, what GPU it comes with, the amount of RAM those are your most costly parts, and to check what a product comes with to ensure it comes what it said, can use speccy, or cpuz to see specs on the system.

And do a test on the GPU, because there has been fake listing if parts from China listing, and to find out if it claim to be said gpu you do a stress test, and see if it within performance range of same GPU, can use gpu Heaven Benchmark, or 3Dmark to benchmark the gpu, and compare to same GPU should be close, same, or more in performance as some gpu are underclocked, or some are overclocked out of the box.

If you shop on Newegg, only buy products shipped by Newegg (products shipped by Newegg wiil have a small icon of blue truck that says "Sold & Shipped By Newegg." on the right of the item's page) and be sure to check seller's ratings like you would on eBay. I do have to agree with xarvn, you should probably buy from a more local store or website in your area cause it could take a month or more for your package to arrive if it is being shipped from the U.S to Japan., Newegg might have some listings from Japan but none of those are shipped from Newegg's Warehouse. Unless you are might patient enough, you might want to shop around a little more.

Yup that good, and if ever want to upgrade to windows 11 you can it free option, you don't have to do it right away, or anything as it a option, but just giving you heads up for the future so you know.
DrakeTheHollow の投稿を引用:
is it difficult to build a pc how would you even do that?

It's not difficult. But if it's not in your wheelhouse, and you don't have a particular interest you're better off buying a prebuilt. You might pay a bit more. But it's going to take more than $100-$200 worth of your time to get up to speed on the subject of hardware and assembly.

And then once you've got it built, if there's any issues with getting things to work or installing Windows, you're on the hook to figure them out too. The happy path isn't too bad, I've been doing it for decades. But I'm not going to pretend there aren't impediments and unexpected challenges. So again, if it's not in your wheel house and you don't have a particular interest, you're still better off with a prebuilt in most cases.

Be sure to keep in mind that the item is "refurbished." Assuming that there is some type of warranty, which I do not see any info, you would have to ship the system back and forth if you were to find any problems.
