Steam News openning with Steam

How can i disable this feature with the steam news openning with steam, i dont want this and i cant find to disable at the options.

Go to Steam top left>settings >Interface> at the top >Startup Location>select Library as default window. ok it that worked for me.
Its a down arrow with a list of options>straight across from the Select Startup Location.

i mean the another windows that appear automatcally, is the blue one on left of your avatar and notifications

View news from Steam?
You get a window
I only see that icon in blue when there is new news item for me to view.
No window so I just click on it and that removes the blue.
Inside is a window to close that press X top right??
Cant be disabled as its part of the Steam Client.

yes but i don't want this to be open because when i start a game from the desktop i need to pres alt+tab to close it, maybe it cause a fps loss, not confirmed

To disable the "Update News" page from opening when Steam launches, visit Steam->Settings->Interface and near the bottom, toggle the "Notify me about additions or changes to my games, new releases, and upcoming releases".
