Can i continue to download games while my PC is off?
I want to finish downloading a game overnight. Is there a way i could continue the download without leaving my PC on?

If you mean completely shutting your PC off aka it having no power then no, you can't download a game when your computer has no power. But if you're putting your PC to sleep then I also think it won't download anything.

If you want your PC to do work while you're away, yes. Downloading would be considered work.

Yes. There is no problem doing so, i had my PC on for weeks without shutting it down and often downloaded large files over night.
PC are made for that.

Answer is no, you have leave the PC on to complete the downloading the large files especially if you don't have good internet speed.

something must be powered on to request and receive data, so no, you cannot turn off your computer while downloading.

However, you can use a second device if it is more energy efficient to download the game, then either make use of LAN download or the backup function.

That's like asking if you can drive your car without the engine on.

Well, I might explicitly turn off the monitor if I intend to run the PC for an extended period of time without actually using it, but that's about it. And it's not very useful since I don't even have a "screensaver" -- I've set it to just turn off the monitor. So it goes into standby anyway.
