Heya, what are some good progression-based competitive shooter games?

I'm really looking for a competitive/multiplayer shooter game in which there's progression (so to me there's a feeling of worth to actually playing, rather than just playing "for fun"). I'm really lost since there are SO many games on Steam..

Why dont you use search engine for shooter in 2022-23.

problerm is progression, you sure you dont want to play RPG in top of this.

Did you not find Rust and other semi shooters or build camp up game.

or go single player like many of us do and play something like fallout4, even ESO with bow can be seen as shooter and there is all that pvp you want, its all depend how much gun it has to be.

and im sure there is many more games with gun, but as i point out also fun with hitting weapon.

When you said "progression-based", you playing again players same level? (Like competitive Overwatch)... and by "shooter" you mean with a team or not?

I have bad (medical) problems and singleplayer games are my favorite but I cannot enjoy them anymore sadly.

Oh I don't really want progression-based too badly, just with some unlocks or something that you obtain whilst playing (so there is more "point" to playing), with shooter can be with team or not, everything is good for a try =D

try single palyer games like elder scrooll or fallout4 , none there tell you to be fast, try see it as other shooter games you might want to learn and noone poke you to be done other then a NPC.

its not always good to have medical in top of this and perty member that cant wait on other and actual will not wait, you have seen this before just because i mention WoW, such fast pasing games no matter what MP it is has such, and what prevent you going into stratrgic games if that is more a thing for you,

dont forget i try avoid you get issue with such behaivior, you might want to dig in puzzle games maybe, other then that goog old tombe raider is a shooter with puzzle, but thats why i meantion skyrim and fallout lesser puzzle more a to do task most dont have probblme with solved it, but if you only want good old 3D shooter games with other then its hard to help you without the only shoot to kill and no progress. i have seen old RPG like steampunik, it can be seen as a new type of games depend on who you ask.

and i dont know try xcom even, they might give you a kick you did not know about then its aliens turn, sometimes what they do is more scared then you win, they can do that.
if that is the so callaed fear factor , just like scare movie.

dont forget you have lock the post with shooter only look alike, and that is not what game devs do today they mix it.

example mass effect and other games like that with research and discovery, puzzle.

gl with it op , only you can open for other way off 3D explorations and other games like that, most will not call them shooters.
