Steam detecting PS4 dualsense controller as xbox via moonlight
I'm streaming my games directly to my LG OLED TV via moonlight and I've connected the controller's directly to the TV via bluetooth. The TV can read the controller inputs just fine but steam thinks I'm using an xbox controller. I can't seem to figure out how to get the screen prompts to change to playstation prompts. Anyone have any ideas?

I had the same issue and if you are using Sunshine + Moonlight, this is how I solved it:

1. Go to your sunshine config file, usually its at "C:\Program Files\Sunshine\config"

2. Open the config file "sunshine.conf" and add "gamepad = ds4" inside the file and save it.

3. Restart sunshine, after that games started showing PS4 controller inputs.

Side note:
In the web settings editor for sunshine there is a settings option under "Configuration -> General -> Gamepads", where I had selected "DS4 (PS4)", but this did NOT fix my issue. Only when i used the configuration file did the right input icons show up.
