Can't Log Into Old Steam account
I played TF2 a lot, and I mean A LOT, a in high school. I recently wanted to start getting back into, but I realized I actually used a different account as kid, so all my items are on that account. I do not know what email I used to log into it, and I cannot for the life of me figure out what else I can do to get into it. I can't just open a ticket, I can't go through the process because I don't have the email address, what do I do?

You will need to know either the email address, or the account name.

If you don't know any of them then you cannot recover the account.
(Steam/Valve can't magically guess which account belongs to you)

The "account name" is what you use when logging in to the account, not the profile name shown when posting on the forums.

If you have any of the two required identifications, the following guide walks you through the recovery process:

I have the account name, I had to just make a support ticket while logged out of steam, I figured it out. Is there a way for me to recover it with just the username so I don't have to wait on the ticket? EDIT: I clicked you link, duh, I will try that out.

Nope, didn't work. Told me it required additional security verification.

Only if you can receive emails to the email address registered to the account.
Then it's a simple "I forgot my password" issue that doesn't require support.

I got as far as getting the email (it was actually the same as my current one, thank god), but can't get any further than that without just waiting on the ticket. Thanks for your help!
