Wii U and the steam Deck
Ok i owned the steam deck for about a year and loving it but i always wondered. Is their a setting that allows me to use it like a Wii U. What i mean is with games that have split screen. where the main Monitor is player 1 and my steam Deck could be payer 2 instead of say having a line down the middle seperating the screens. Of maybe if Valve ever takes suggestions IF it was possible that might be something to look into because honestly it was one of the Wii U's best features. I played many hours on Hyrule warriors that way.

Note that the wii-u functionally is a mini-console which is why it worked the way it did.

Youd 'at best' get screen stretching across 2 devices, but you're not likley to get much more than that. To get screen stretching you'd have to extend the screen which would highly tax the GPU and tank FPS performance

thats kinda All i want. So me and my friend do have to share screens while we play split screen games. i tried to connect'stream but it just mirrored both screens. If it's not something that can work or happen then that's fine.

If it was something steam could make into a back end release or say some update that lets us connect big screen and project onto it then thta would be epic.
