Do not trade until your account is secured.

4. Change passwords from a clean computer.

You don't need access to the email, phone or password currently tied to the hijacked/hacked account for this to work. Just pick the "I do not have access..." or a similar option when asked.
picking any of the "i do not have access to" options results in a red text error saying "You have exceeded the number of allowed recovery attempts. Please try again later."
Then I guess you'll have to try again later.

do you know the cooldown timer for attempts? I'm assuming the hijacker has maxed all my attempts out. Just feels like I'm kinda f*cked atm with the current situation,

ticket is still open and active yes, no response from a Valve employee though yet.
Make sure to keep those icloud passwords protected if you have an iphone!
