Problem downloading large games - Linux (Xubuntu)
When I try to download a large game (Yakuza 0, Red Dead Redemption 2, etc.), I've found that Steam will download the game for a bit.

Then I'll lose my wi-fi connection, and trying to reconnect doesn't seem to work. Restarting seems to restore the connection, but then I try to redownload the game and I lose internet connection again.

I don't know why this is happening - I've never had this problem until today, and it seems to be working fine for other actions like watching videos or browsing the web. I was even able to download quite a few games today (at least 30 or 40 GBs worth) before this issue started occurring.

What is causing the problem, and what should I do to solve it?

Poisen Revesed, ask own ISP, you get 3 minute cooldown because whatever it is among you and your ISP is the problem, most of the time its end user, but could also be between you both.

only solution is do it work for other spare pc, then it is your pc that doing it. ( your isp know what this is the IT term of this, whats cause this is a diffrent matter. ) all from switch to cable to whatever , see it as network brake standard protocol and you get terminated, thats another way to say it. ( try see it as network protect it self ) and your connection cause issue.

ps.
even own netcard or its driver, same thingy you cause issue, its network that dont like what you are doing to it.
