it's stuck on "waiting for network"

cmon man this new ui was bad enough but the fact it just refuses to load instead putting this (also unminimizable by the way) giant thing on my screen saying "waiting for network"

by the way ux designers? if you bump into me and go "oh hi i'm a ux designer" just saying man you arnae gonnae have hauns to design ux much longer

i even reinstalled steam last night and it worked for a while

is that the fix? reinstall steam everytime you want to launch a game?

no. it's stock. and i don't use linux (just saying cause like every fix on google is for some linux problem)

sorry if i'm acting like a ♥♥♥♥ it's just steam hasn't been working for ages

1. my wifi is working.
2. yeah my wifi's working on my pc

okay all of htese are just "have you tried turning it on and off again" but the one thing i got to make steam work was reinstalling it.. which worked until the next ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ day when it did it again WHY VALVE WHY CAN'T WE JUST ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ROLLBACK TO THE OLD UI

ive had this same issue since like 2022, i dont have a clue what the fix is but my way of going about it is just reinstalling windows, this issue only occurs after a couple months maybe over a year until im unable to login to steam. interesting thing is that my old account im able to login to, but this account im not. ran two different malware scans, uninstalled any p2p apps (i had soulseek), clearing my storage drives up, reinstalling geforce drivers, checking any bios issues. I just dont know the solution

hey dude check if one of your drives is kicking the bucket, one of my drives was dying and causing the error
