Best COD black ops game?

So I already asked this question in the COD community but no one answered :/
So maybe if you are a Cod fan or played a few games, which Black ops game would you recommend (especially regarding the singleplayer mode!)

I heard that Black Ops 2 has branching story, so you could give it a try.

This^. Some people also say Cold War has a good story but I didn't like it.

Black Ops 2 has the best single player experience. The original BO is also excellent and both titles have brilliant but ultimately broken MP aspects right now. Black Ops 3's campaign was pretty dismal so you can comfortably overlook that I'd say.
