How do I see the REAL size of a workshop mod before downloading it?
Take for example Community Factions Project (CFP) for Arma 3.

https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1369691841

On the workshop page it says that the mod has 330.420 MB. Which is a complete lie.

This is the real size of the mod on the hard drive. 4.3 GB. Over 10 times a large as what it says on the workshop page.

Yes, I am aware that this particular mod has dependency mods that it downloads in order to function. But they are all downloaded in their own separate mod folders. CUP Units for example is number 497661914 at 5.4 GB, over 3 times the size on the workshop.

Why doesn't workshop show the real size of mods? Is there any way to fix this?

1. Dont bump stuff
2. For most it is denoted in the workshop right?
3. the 4.3 GB is how much he is rewriting. Not what the size is on your system. the nature of mods is you are modifying files in the game. So 4.3 is the size of the files that need to be rewritten ect.

Rewriting. What exactly does that mean? In this case the mod downloads a total of 330 mb and then it uses other files from other mods or from the base game in order to create all the content?
