Lenovo P50 low fps each game

Hey guys,

Lenovo P50,

i7 6820HQ
NVidia M2000M
48 GB Ram

In every game except LoL, I have 5 fps. LoL works as I run it on "legendary mode".
The steam game I am trying to run is AoE I DE. In graphics driver I forced it to use M2000M, tried running option from shortcut properties as from the steam run setting -force d3d11; -dxlevel90. Nothing works on this computer. I tried to run blizzard game - hearthstone, same ♥♥♥♥. Unplayable. Drivers up to date, pls help.

that graphics card is not made for gaming and its a card from 2015 its made for CAD and photoshop work its a workstation laptop you have not a gaming laptop

I have a gaming PC, laptop is for work but sometimes I want to play an old game on it. And mate please... ppl have 50 fps in witcher on it...

still not a gaming laptop but try 900p and medium settings and see what happens

Then make sure you're running the Witcher at identical settings and resolution. Also accept there's going to be some variablility depending on more nuances of their system and how generalized they're bing or how much rounding up they do.

"Getting 50FPS in the witcher" is pretty broad and vague in reality.

Alternatively, it could be due to the driver you're using, and the games aren't using the GeForce M2000 so everything is trying to run on the IGP on the CPU, which would account for the crappy game performance. So make sure you're using the same drivers or other configuration things that allow the people you're quoting to run games on the workstation card.

I know you're trying to help but you don't really understand the problem. When I try to launch LoL right of the bat, it will have 10 fps ut when in the client settings I set it to "prefer DX9 Legacy mode" game goes to 100+ fps.

When I try to force a game on steam to use older DirectX, there is 0 response. System req. for AOE and LoL are simillar I would say.

Not every game is going to be able to be forced to run on arbitrary versions of direct x. These execution parameters, "-force d3d11; -dxlevel90" may not be implemented into every game.

Other games may have their own variations. Or none at all.
