I see you’re having problems getting our text messages. Try the steps below before requesting another SMS:
You may need to turn your phone off and on.
Your number may be on a Do Not Call or Do Not Text list. Contact your carrier to see there are no blocks for automated SMS or 5 to 6-digit numbers.
Your phone’s memory or SMS inbox may be full. Clear your memory or delete old messages.
Your phone may be roaming or have weak signal. Make sure you’re on a primary network with good signal strength.
You may have exceeded your request limit. Wait 24 hours between 5 or more texts.
Your device’s hardware may have issues getting texts. Try putting your SIM into a new device.
Trying again in a few days to a week sometimes fixes the issue. If you’re still not getting our texts, please contact your carrier.
Note: Steam Support is unable to add a phone number to your account. You must use a phone/carrier that gets our texts to take advantage of our security.
