I keep getting the message "it looks like you have been attempting a lot of purchases" etc when i try to buy something.

WTF Steam ??

How the ♥♥♥♥ am i supposed to buy my ♥♥♥♥ if the sale ends in 45 minutes ??

You might get lucky in 30 minutes. But making purchases the last hour is always the worst.

i get both of your points but to be fair two weeks is a good amount of time, even if you're on Steam pretty casually, and it's also not your fault that Steam is being stupid. Just keep checking every 5-10 minutes and best of luck.

Same issue. Sold some skins in quick succession to put towards the games I wanted but I received this message instead. Last minute or not, if the store closes at 1pm you still have to serve me at 12:59.

It’s likely this has far more to do with people attempting last minute buyouts rather than a deliberate closing
