Pending Steam Wallet funds deposited into wallet but still says pending
Recently, I purchased a game and played it for a bit. I didn't like it, so I refunded it. I understand that refunds can take up to 10 days to process. Earlier today, I saw that the full amount of the refund had been deposited into my Steam Wallet. However, in the top right of my Steam app, where it says my name and wallet amount, it still has the refund amount in parentheses, with 'pending' next to it. I'm concerned, and I don't want to purchase anything without knowing I am safe to do so.

It usually gets released in 24 hours.

This doesn't help. Am I safe to make purchases? Is this a bug, or just how it works?

Pending means you haven't received the money yet, so you cannot spend it.
