Steam keeps hold my funds for selling items!
I sold 2 cards on a market and Steam keeps hold my funds and I can't use this money. Why is it happened? What can I do to unhold them? It's almost 3 days passed after Steam holds my first funds for a first card, and now I sold a second one, and new funds added to the old ones on a hold position!

Well it’s very simple. They say it’s for our own good, but this benefits only them. A lot of people sell an item sometimes because they urgently need money to buy something. How many times you wanted to buy a skin or a key to open a case and you needed only 0.1€. Ofcourse you will want to sell some trashy skins on market right away to get this 0.1€. But now you will need to deposit 5€ instead. I sold my skins many times for example to buy game to play with my friends the same evening.

They just simply want to have more cash flow from credit cards. All money that comes to steam. Stays on steam.

You can only wait. The funds will release automatically after a while.

But why does it happened? I need my funds now on a sale!

It's a new security feature.
If your account was hijacked, and the hijacker were selling your items, you would have some time to recover your account before he could send the money to himself.

Then why are some items sold immediately while others are sold and hold funds?

We don't really know, since Valve never tells anyone about these things.

Some thinks it's triggered when items are sold much below or above the "normal" price on the market.

I just sold cards from a relatively new game that don't sell that often and have a big difference between supply and demand. May it be a reason? And it's 3 days passed already, may I need to write on a Steam support?

Ah... It says: "This item is being sold at an unusual price. The proceeds from its sale will be withheld for some time."
They did the same for me but I still haven't gotten my money over 3 days after the "Pending" Disappeared. Steam support keeps giving me the same copy and pasted response.

usually they get off the pending in 2 days even if it says 1-2 days but its never one, its pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ for cs2 players like me because it sells the skin or case and it goes aurtomatically to pending and if you think youre going to buy a case to open or skin and the price usually goes up and you don't have enouygh to buy it... I really hope steam removes this thing because it's really annoying

Security feature lmao. The item has still been sold so it does not matter

It's matter! I wanna buy a new CS2 skin for a good price, but I can't, because my money is held!

Well then you'll just have to buy it when the money is available to you. Or if that's important, use a credit card or something.
