GTA 5 STEAM HELP ME PLEASE NOWWWW

Gta on my pc i got son steam now says unrecoverable fault, and my pc is freezing, i tried online tips to fix but doesnt work, i tried reinstalling gta on steam 2x, and verifying the game many times, I am now stuck on what to do. I want to know if i can buy gta on the disk version or on epic games and will it work? becuse idk if its steam or my gta files ? and i wana play for god sake, and play 5m wich will not work, and pc keeps freesing, i need some help broooo

Its a known problem with the game, nothing to do with Steam.
Buying it again on some other platform wont help.
Most probable causes are outdated drivers, third party programs that interfer with the game or it can even be hardware related.
Do other games run fine on the system?

Can you write the message error? Also tell us what you tried so far.

Also update Windows (what your version?). Update graphic drivers (what your GPU?)

Scan for malwares. (take the free version of Malwarebyte)

i have tried other games they dont run it says different errors, like unrecoverable fault low on memory and restart games, i tried reintall games and update the pc many times and verified integraty of game but still dont work, MY GPU IS A 1650 4GB RYZEN 3 4100 8gb ram. Windows is up to date on updates, i tried contacting pc specialist but they say update things but i have no changes, the pc freeses and glitches out.

I would make sure its not ram or video ram.

There are test programms for each on reputated computer magazine sites. Make sure your cooling is working well, watch temperatures while testing.

Oof, only 4 GB of RAM, and 1 GB of that is dedicated VRAM for your integrated graphics.

There are plenty of problems with trying to game on such a low powered and old laptop, but if you can upgrade to 16 GB of RAM on this one, it might help a little.

This is footage of the game running on a similar system to yours. Frame rates in the teens, regularly dipping into the single digits. Frankly, it's unplayable.

Look again what he wrote, he does not game on that laptop, he just currently writes on his laptop.
The problem with GTA 5 is on his desktop PC.

OP when you follow Cathulhu post instructions, did you do this on the PC you're having trouble with?

- If no, please go on your problem PC, open Steam, open help, then system information, and paste the info here.


- If yes then that not a good PC by any means to playing GTAV because barely able to play it, and Rockstar been pushing more updates which make game more demanding overtime, which means may not be able to play, or have trouble even running it.

Please note the current system you posted about please watch video that Harusp3x, it shows you that your notebook/laptop is not meant for gaming such as that. I make it more simple if you're a console gamer, imagine playing GTAV on PS4 have smooth gameplay, now imagine you trade in PS4 for PS3 then play GTAV, but hated it because game sluggish, and not smooth at all with longer loading times, now imagine it worse then that, that your current PC, because it's not good by any means for overall gaming purposes.


If want advice for future PC, ask community, and we give you advice on what to look for, and understand a bit more how PC works compare to console.

What GPU does it comes with? The Ryzen 3 4100 doesn't have an iGPU just letting you know.

If this is the problem PC, please sure PC not overheating issues, if you did any overclocking, please return to default.

Ah I see it, I must had missed that post, I can only assume either temp issue, or overclocking as there little information to why his game freezes, or crashes.
