Error Code: -107
Yesterday the steam store page stopped loading. It only gives me "Error Code: -107
Failed to load web page (unknown error).". It's only the store page. The community hub and everything else still works. It's also only in the steam browser too. I am able to open the store using firefox and chrome.

What I have tried:

-Clearing the browser cache.

-Uninstalling and reinstalling Steam.

-Disabling my firewall.

I'm afraid that's your culprit, everyone reporting this error has Spectrum internet, there seems to be something wrong with how they're routing Steam's traffic. Contact them and explain this is a problem affecting multiple users.

Thank you. I already suspected something was wrong with Spectrum when another device of mine couldn't hold a connection. I think I'll be switching providers.

It really is unfortunate this issue isn't getting more attention, it's been days and we've not heard anything from either Valve or Spectrum. Not all of us have the luxury of a choice of provider in our area, unfortunately.

Totally missing out on Summer Sale because of this.

Do you have a smartphone? Download the Steam app, and use the store over your cell network as a stopgap. Alternately, just find any other wifi point to connect to, most public places these days have public wifi.

I figured it was Spectrum when I was having issues on the web store and my phone as well. Guess there's nothing we can do right now?

Call spectrum and complain. The more people calling attention to it, the faster they'll deal with it.

Indeed i do unfortunately. Anyone who's having this issue just use Proton Free until it's resolved just so you can get the Summer Sale deals you want. Works like a charm for me.

The store started working for me a few hours ago, then it went away, and now it's back again. Still switching providers because of other issues but it seems to come and go. If they only offer spectrum in your area I would recommend getting satellite internet from direct tv or starlink of you can afford it. There are other companies but those are just the ones I can think off off the top of my head.
