Issues with EasySMX ESM-9119
I just got an EasySMX Wireless gaming controller. I followed the installation instructions (plug in the dongle and press a button; pretty simple), and launched a game. Problem is that it says Press A to continue, and I have to press X. This is pretty consistent. All of the buttons are detected incorrectly. I've searched the forums and saw a suggestion that I uninstall the HID-Compliant Controller instances and re-plug in the dongle. I tried that and the issue remains.

Oh, and the Steam Settings for Controllers doesn't detect a controller at all.

Any one have a solution to this?

This the issue with the controller being recognized as a switch controller or another and rumble going nutz when trigger or a button pressed?
Just solved the issue i was having with mine.

What I did was go into Device Manager and Right Click the controller while it was recognized as a "HID Compliant Game Controller" and Update the Drivers manually.

I hit Update Driver, Let Me Pick From a List Available, I had to Uncheck "Show compatible Hardware".

After that I navigated to Microsoft out of all the names/brands and selected "Xbox One Wireless Control".

After will prompt to restart, hit yes or no, but unplug the USB then plug it back in
Hope this helps

Hello there. I have met someone who has an issue with an EasySMX X10 in a Steam game, specifically the game Hyper Light Breaker, which is made in Unreal Engine 4.27 (not sure if this is relevant, but felt like I should mention it). When playing they have periodic lack of character movement, that is their left stick stops working, then works again, very randomly. Might be some kind of stick detection issue. Do you think this might be related to what you are talking about? If not, do you have any idea what else it might be caused by? It is the only person we seem to have found in the Discord server for the game to have the issue, though. He said he thinks he saw at least 1-2 other people mention a similar issue a few weeks back, but I can't find their messages, and no idea if they used this specific controller. Seems like he's the only one to have mentioned using it.

This is exactly what they wrote: "My character stops moving every 10-30 seconds or so. I’m on controller on steam and using the stick to move my character. They just keep stopping. I’m not the only one experiencing this but I guess no one is talking about it. It doesn’t seem to matter where I am or whether I’m in a fight or not. Character just stops moving when I’m clearly telling them to move."

And in another bug report post had written:

"Left stick stops moving kind of randomly? not sure if there's something on the ground or stick detection issues."

It is specifically the EasySMX X10 that they use. It is very new, from Christmas. Has no play in the sticks themselves, physically, according to the person.
