Unable to purchase due to an error.
"An unexpected error has occurred. Your purchase has not been completed.
Please wait a few minutes and try again.
If you encounter this error repeatedly, please contact Steam Support."

I had +50 games in cart and couldn't buy due to this error, tried multiple ways like remove everything from cart and buying them one by one but didn't work as well.

I already filed a report but it's been more than 24 hours without a response..

No it's not a connection issue my internet been running well for the past 5 days

Hello, same thing happened to me and my currency suddenly changed, lmao. You are lucky one rn.

Ne olduğunu anlamak gerçekten imkansız.

You have a completely different issue that you have a thread for already.

Since I still can not buy things via my visa credit card and having same error occured it's similar though. Yeah, my thread is still open I wonder what's gonna happen, lol. :csgo_ez:

A forced region change by Valve is not what this thread is about.

Due to region abuse, it seems like steam has drastically tightened accepted payment methods like what they did with argentina. That means certain cards (eg virtual ones like odubil and fups) are no longer being accepted. If you are trying to use any of those, then you will likely have to use a different one.

I live in Turkey as well and I can't purchase anything due to the "unexpected error", I've tried Steam wallet and Turkish credit card but both failed. Waiting for a reply to my ticket, it's been more than 24 hours so far :winter2019sadgingerbread:

Just to let you all know that steam support worked and they fixed the issue within 24 hours

Both of you may need to contact the support if the issue is similar.
Or just report it anyways c:

I am in the kinda exact same situation, except I moved to Turkey two years ago and not sure if the problem is the payment method or the fact that it keeps changing between my previous country and Turkey when I'mtrying to pay.
How did they solve it anyways?

Next to the error message there is a link that'll send you to the support page. go there and select the purchase section. from there you can select few options (for me I selected the game listed which I wasn't able to buy) and I included the detail in a message.
If your issue is different then I suggest you go directly to steam support.
Note: you have to include a message with details

Yeah they replied to my ticket and solved the issue. I'm sure they will also help you if you're really living in Turkey, just create a ticket and wait for support to reply.
