ssd question
I've just got a external ssd, due to space etc, connected it up,gave it a quick format etc, trying to install a old game just as a test,BUT it is stuck reserving space, been on 8% for ages,is that normal or have I got a dodgy drive?

I hope you are using at least an USB 3 connection ^^
To check whether you were scammed, you can enter the serial number of the drive on the manufactures website. Where and how depends on the manufacturer.

Yeah, buying cheapo no name SSDs is playing with fire, and you’ll often get burned.

A good SSD will cost more, but it’s usually what it’s advertised as.
