Reset Steam Search Settings

Hello,

I've been having a problem that every time i try to install a game, and type the games name into the search box the exact same game wont show up, for example: if I type in TF2 or PUPB it wont show but it will tell me that based on my search filters it can't show me the game. In the costomization menu i tried to check or un check anything that would block the game from showing but Steam still don't show me the game.

Click on the cog (gear-like icon) next to the text that says something about your preferences.

After that? I tried to check/uncheck everything but still nothing.

The only other thing I can personally think of at the moment that might correct it is resetting Steam's cache. Unfortunately Valve hasn't updated the instructions on how to here:

I don't know where it is in the new UI because I'm not using the new UI.
In the old UI there's another 'clear cache' option in the "Web Browser" options. The text in the button for that says "Delete Web Browser Data" in the old UI.

Exit and restart Steam after doing those things if you manage to find them in the new UI.

If neither of those do it I'm personally out of ideas, contact official Steam Support.

I tried it, it stil does not show me the exact game, and still says that its disabled because of my filters.
I will try contact the official Steam Support.

Deleting cache might not take effect until you exit and restart Steam.

I've finally fixed it!

Just needed to reinstall steam, now everything works just fine. I checked if my searching setting were wrong, but it wasn't, so idk.
