Steam Client Freezes when Using Menus

I get freezing client and it freezes PC if you hover your mouse over support menu (menu pops down) and then quickly move mouse to another menu (i.e. Library) and menu pops down, now I have two menus frozen in time, thus PC/client all freeze.

The only way to "unfreeze" client is to end task.

I reinstalled Client and it messed up one of my games. i had to re-install the game too.

I can recreate the freeze every time by just hovering over two menus.

I tried most suggested troubleshooting, but nothing fixed it.

Here is the main thing. I used to be a programmer before a disabling stroke. And I am confident that this is from the June 31st Update. Because nothing on my PC has been changed and the Steam client has work fine for the past 3 years.

So, something has changed in the last client update. Its is a bug that only does this on steam client and not on any other program I use.

I don't have this issue.

Try opting in/out of Steam beta updates.

Solution Option 1:
Go in to the settings of the new client UI and change all of the performance settings to low or disabled.

Solution Option 2:
Follow these instructions to use the old UI.
