why did you change the api key? normally, an account has no use for it and it is normally used by scammers to take control of accounts. best to REVOKE the APIKEY unless you plan on having your stuff stolen.

all you need to do is REVOKE the APIKEY, you dont change it, you REVOKE IT.

if you are going to use 3rd party sites to trade, tighten up the security on your account and make sure its SECURED

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
3. Change passwords from a clean computer
4. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
5. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

the bots the scammers use are able to determine the value of a trade very quickly, some will only act if the trade is above a certain value that the scammer has set.

None of the regular functions of steam need it.
