Jay Kelly Stole My Account
I saw several similar reports of accounts being "accidentally" reported for scams/fraud, but it was a little late for me. Someone found me on a Discord server that I have never participated in (I only use the emojis) and sent me a concerning message stating my account had been reported on accident. They gave me the Discord account to one Jay Kelly#9000, who then robotically started to demand information from me. I had suspicions but I played into their little scam, and they gained access to my account. The login (password), email address, and phone number were changed, and they are demanding $100 in giftcards from a third-party website. When I questioned the authenticity of the conversation being held, I had a "certificate" flashed in my face supposedly giving Jay Kelly total control over customer service issues. Including TOTAL OBEDIENCE from the persons in question. I began to ask more questions, and none of them were answered. I was repeatedly and urgently demanded to follow through or my account would be permanently banned. But, I noticed both Jay and the other user were speaking in unison, and mentioning things from both conversations that neither should have known. I began immediately reporting the issues at hand to both Steam/Valve and Discord. I've even contacted a lawyer for impersonation fraud. My account name is GothicGremlin, I've been a member for years- almost decades at this point. They also continuously assume I have the money despite being disabled, impoverished, unemployed, and homeless, due to the fact that I have spent thousands of dollars on video games over the years. I'd like any kind of help I can get - I cannot log into my account, but I've changed the passwords of my linked accounts.

I've done everything on the guide. I suppose I just have to wait now. Thank you.
In general:

Official support you find on your own at the official place.

Do not talk, write or interact with scammers. They are the ones coming to you and trying to keep you talking to them.

Hey guys! My account was restored! I learned a very valuable lesson, and I will NEVER trust people who claim they work for any company I have accounts with. Thank you for everyone's help, especially the Steam Customer Support staff! And to Jay Stelly himself, for adding his own report to assist my dilemma.
