Constant Screenshotting

While I was playing WolfQuest, thought that I’d take one screenshot, it worked, however the game starts to lag. Happens to me all the time, since it’s a demanding game. However, once it stops lagging and my fps starts to gain again, screenshotting against my command starts happening, and its constant. I don’t know if its a mac issue, a steam issue, or a wolfquest issue, but i thought posting the issue in both forums might help. If any other gamers have had this issue, and know a way to solve it, help would be appreciated. :)

Try steam in-game setting, i know i once change it to ( shift + F12 key ) was feed up hitting key by mistake in some game where all Fkey was in use, possible a manager game, i forgot name atm. maybe that will work for you, but it dont explan what keep activate current F12 function,game pad controller or app interference or other macro, on a Gkeyboard maybe.

Dont forget joustick and other external unit might do this, as i said gl figure out what cause this.


even see a game , detect joystick and remove mouse keyboard, problem is it was another game i use joystick for and forgot all about it, until that game lost all controll, yeap its bad, ( or should i said that game devs problem, thats dont bother ask switch to that unit. )

I've had my computer stutter as I'm taking a screenshot before, and then start taking screenshots rapid-fire. I think that for some reason, the lag tricked the computer or game into thinking I was still holding down the F12 key, even though I physically wasn't. Pressing and releasing the F12 key again might help get the program to realize that F12 is no longer being held.
