ie4uinit.exe Process
Today I opened a viber on a PC and the ie4uinit.exe process requests access to folders. Its path is "User Profiles" -> "Favorites". It didn't ask for access before, but Viber had an update if that matters. Is it a dangerous process?

Dafuq is a Viber?

That said, upload the file to Virustotal and consciously read the results.

Upload in what sense? Should he have access?

Whatever you just did with Viber to get it scanned by Virustotal, repeat this action for ie4unit.exe.

It doesn't show up in the specified path when I search for it. He only requested access when updating the viber and does nothing else, even in the task manager he is nowhere to be found.

Ok, next. What is "he"? I am trying to understand what exactly went on.

Ok, so ie4unit.exe asked you for access. Is that correct?

Yes, when I opened the viber and it started updating, the ie4uinit.exe process requested access. Previously, when the viber was not updated, this process did not request access.

I really don't know what to ask to find out whether it was a system dialog or an own dialog.

Thanks for trying to help.
