Steam points, animated background section stop playing.

Looking at the list of animated backgrounds, if you scroll through one page, then all the backgrounds will stop playing as if they are frozen, does everyone have the same problem?

Has been confirmed by others, yes. Seems to be an issue only in the client, browser still works.
There's a lot of broken smaller stuff in the client since the start of the year. No choice but to wait for fixes.

try opening the steam store points in your browser

This is still an issue. Also noted that if you click on one of the backgrounds to preview them/buy them they just wont load in the preview screen.

Restarting steam fixed this issue, though as soon as you open a background to preview it, they all freeze and they fail to load in the preview screen.
