How do keep a game from updating?
One of the games I own is removing content in the update, I don't want steam to update this game. When going to the game update page there is no more an option to stop updates. Anyone know how I can keep an update from starting on one game?

There's never been an option to stop updates, only to delay them until game start which is still what the option is.

There is no option. As steam will not remember your choice of, only update when I launch this game. It will go right back to, always keep this game updated. About all you can do is. schedule downloads at a time you won't be using steam. And cut the bandwidth to 1. But it won't even remember that. As I have set it IDK how many times. It is really a bunch of crap on steams part.

Steam doesn't provide option to stop updates, but can delay updates if set download times to only allow to be within said download times via settings, but you won't be able to play until update if you delay the update.

Only thing that can prevent an update is editing game app manifest file as this will allow you to continue to play the game without needing to update, but do this for multiplayer, or online games, I have a guide in my profile, but it not user friendly.

There are some workarounds, but outside the beta branches no officially supported way.
