Any way to force game updates?
I find it annoying whenever I go to my Steam library and there are multiple games sitting in the update queue, waiting for the most random times to update. I want my games to update themselves the very moment they are able to.

Go to their properties and set them all to "Always keep this game up to date."

I do, but the updates don't start immediately. They sit in a queue saying "awaiting update" for some random time that could be hours away even when the computer is inactive

Like I don't want to see games with "update queued" they should just update the moment its available.

"High Priority" skips the scheduling.

Do I have to manually do that for every game or can I set that to a global default?

Each installed game will need to be set to that manually. There is only one global default and that's the "Always keep this game up to date."
