Can anyone please help me with Joy2Key and Earthworm Jim?

Ive found old threads here saying that Joy2Key made xbox 360 controllers work with EWJ from Steam, but I am having no luck at all. Can anyone please help me?

Depends, which version of EWJ is on Steam? DOSBox? A console version running in an emulator?

Thank you for the reply. It looks like all 3 EWJs in the bundle on Steam are DOSBox. While my computer (win10) recognizes the pc-xbox360 controller, the options on EWJ1 show "joypad OFF"

The controls in that game are completely digital, can't you use Steam's controller configuration utility to map the controller to keyboard presses the game uses?

I'm brand new to Steam and it's game library. I wasn't aware of that utility. I'll google that and see if I can work with what I find online.

I just had a major breakthru and I think I am on my way! The controller is working, and I have it working within EWJ. I just had the joystick toggling between selections, and selections being made with a controller button. Joy2Key is now showing yellow highlighted controller functions, I believe I am on my way and just need to get Joy2Key properly setup to play EWJ as I want.
