"family shared" games can't be played, but purchased only

Hey!

The topic sums it up. Those check marks are there on both devices, access is granted to my PC on both devices as well. The family member is totally online and not playing. The game I want to play is in his steam library, purchased via steam, it's not in the list of games not eligible for sharing, BUT it only says I can purchase it and not "just" borrow. Any ideas why and how to fix this?

Not all games support family sharing.

Its a new game, not very surprising they want their money when the game first comes out tbh.

I'm having this issue as well today. I was able to see all family shared games yesterday. Now I can't see anything for one particular friend.

Here some facts.

1. Not all games can be family shared.

2. At any point, and time devs can either enable, or disable family sharing for their game as they please.

3. You can view what games not supported visiting a link J4MESOX4D provided. <--- To ADD the list ONLY shows games YOU own, not games you DO NOT own.

Points 1 and 3 are literally the same (different words though) and were addressed in the opening post.

Point one is to make it clear, point three is to stop you from asking a question of which game not supported hence what it points to.

Did you even check out the list? Atomic heart is not in there.

I should've point out that the list only shows games you own, if you do not own the game, it won't appear there due to not owning the said game. AFAIK this game is not family share ATM.

Ok this is the problem that I am having but it is NOT an issue of the games not being family sharable. It is happening with literally every game I own, none of which are on the "excluded" list.
