New G15 Gaming Laptop and half of game library unplayable
New G15 with Win11 and nvidia RTX3060 running unremovable Directx12 and half of my Steam library has become unplayable. Dying Light 1 and 2, Fallout 3 GOTY, Skyrim, Borderlands TTW and oneshot, just for starters. Strangely Fallout NV and 4 work fine, along with many smaller games for the kids like Raft and Slime Rancher. I have tried every posted solution for compatibility mods and updates, disabling any security software, and a dozen other things. Is this the future of Steam where Windows and Tech advances and all our purchased games become obsolete?

No, the laptop is not defective. I am not throttling or overclocking anything and all other aspects are working perfectly. I am also not trying random things but every suggested solution to resolve the issue, from researching clearly an issue shared by hundreds of other users with new systems, so clearly there is an issue somewhere beyond the system(s) that needs to be addressed... but thanks for your helpful input.

UPDATE: After complete factory wipe, updates, and reinstalls I got an actual error code to work from rather than just instant shutdown. Mine finally fixed when I manually downloaded and reinstalled VC Redistributables. Search and install VC_Redist.x64 and x86. Then run a steam://flushconfig from the run command when Steam is closed. Hope it helps anyone else having similar issues!... so not a defective laptop problem was with system files interacting with Steam.
