How to compare two Monitors in screen quality?
I have two new 27" monitors. One from Asus Rog Strix other is from LG UltraGear.

What video, pictures or games should I try to run on both monitors to test and see which one is better?

I will only keep one of the two!

Which one do you like better?

If you need outside opinions, presumably both monitors have been reviewed multiple times. What do the reviews have to say about them?

Between both those things you should be able to make decision. If they're both too close to call, flip a coin.
Nop you misunderstood or didn't read the whole thing, I need suggestions regarding which videos, images or games should I run on both to test the monitors best.
Night and underwater are good test videos

Here you can find a collection of test images (stills), and instructions on how to use them.

For moving images, as the others have said run the games you play.

Ask Hardware, and how come you dont think it matter what GPU card you have,
https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/forum/11/

Monitor is stupid as a door, they are output unit, they run at what factory was test and work what system spec says, rest is from gpu card and Monitor cable to it.

so you can actual say on spec whats best, that has nothing to do with your eyes and what you like is best in design. ( dont forget light in room and as the other point out test and and your toaster pc will still effect outcome of what you think, this is why hardware sections can tell by spec whats best, but you lack to many detail in model specification.

gl with steam hardware section.
