Things we have tried:
- Uninstalling and reinstalling Steam (including manually deleting old steam files and registry files)
- Reinstalling/updating wifi drivers
- resetting Windows network settings to factory defaults
- Checking Windows 10 for updates
- Reinstalling all .net and visual c++ versions
- Rebooting router
- Many reboots of PC
NOTHING HAS WORKED!!!
yes i try almost all thethings you listed, none of these work.....
Already tried:
- Change account (tried 3 different accounts)
- Change PC (2 different)
- Restart modem
- Reinstall Steam
- Change network (2 different)
- Force disconnect all devices
I'm out of ideas...
Are you guys using custom DNS? Ensure it not blocking things, or try another DNS services, or set it to default on OS.
Are you guys using custom firewall? If yes ensure not blocking Steam app from having internet connection, if also using 3rd party anti virus, or network app, ensure that not messing with client either.
Did you guys mess with host file on your OS blocking connections, or blocking ports, and such from modem/router? If you mess with host file, or messing with ports on your modem/router ensure not blocking important things.
Do you use router to then connect to modem? If yes try connecting directly to modem instead of using router, to ensure router not the issue. Check if there an update for modem, and router, normally ISP roll out your updates for modem, but router may need to check for yourself.
the weird part of the problem is that one account can login, but same pc same network ,another account can't login, just out of my mind ...........
2. Already tried to change my DNS settings, from 1.1.1.1 to 8.8.8.8. Tried to put it in Windows settings and modem settings, with no results.
3. I'm using Kaspersky Plus, already tried to run the steam client after turned it off but still no difference.
4. I didn't touched the host file.
5. My modem is connected directly to the internet. The only configuration I made was set a static IP for my PC.
Try not setting a static IP for moment, do network clear then test, so run CMD as admin, do each one at a time, after first set restart PC, then do 2nd set then restart and test, best of luck.
netsh winsock reset
netsh int ip reset
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew
Logs in fine on mobile/web, but on the PC client and deck no chance.
On deck I get “loading user data”, client a small black window with spinning Steam logo circle.
There is already a thread in discussions about the problem with a few pages already. I use 2 FA as well.
