Are you running Steam through Wine or something?
No i just open steam without anything.
There's a log folder in the Steam installation folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\logs
You can order the files by modified date. And look into these, which have the newest timestamp.
Maybe you can find something there.
There's also a Windows Event Viewer, which recrods errors happening in Windows itself: https://www.howtogeek.com/123646/htg-explains-what-the-windows-event-viewer-is-and-how-you-can-use-it/
Take a look into that too.
There are multiple categories. Look into each of it and check entries around your time.
Are there any errors / warning/ critical stuff?
// EDIT
What does the error say?
1. ,,The Steam Client Service failed to start due to the following error:
The service does not respond to a start or control signal within the expected time"
2. ,,A timeout occurred (30000ms) waiting for the Steam Client Service to connect."
I basically found that tjis can happen once in a while. So it doesn't mean that's the root cause of your problem, but it may be a part of the puzzle ^^
Are there any other events around the time?
