reset broken store recommendations

Currently the store is helpfully informing me of games I do not want to see, have no intention of buying, and fall into a class of game I have never bought, have never played.

Quite bluntly I do not want to play anime masturbation games.

How do I reset the store so that 'New & Trending' doesn't include these entries?

I can't use tags: They don't have a 'pathetic games for losers' tag, and other tags would exclude games I would want to see - e.g. GTA V counts as mature, The Witcher 3 has sexual content, many games feature nudity and frankly all games are NSFW where I work because it's not a games company.

Go to your store preferences:
https://store.steampowered.com/account/preferences

Uncheck the "Adult only..." checkbox. That is for pure porn games, which is what you don't want to see.

The Witcher, GTA V etc. are _not_ classified as "Adult only", so you will still see that kind of games.

Then use the section for blocking tags to fine tune, like removing "dating sims" etc.
