CD key's

where do i get my cd key for an old game? help plz

Right click the game in your library -> Manage -> CD keys

I can't find it, it doesn't appear to me

If you don't see an option there is no cd key. The vast majority of games won't have one. What game, and what do you need the CD key for?

Then that game don't provide CD keys.

it's ubi, the game i'm talking about is AC unity, they're asking for a cd key but it won't show up for me, i don't know what else to do

Just link your steam and ubi account.

If you do that, then exit out of the dialog, next time you start the game it will not ask

Ubisoft games have stopped using CD keys on Steam long ago.
Install Ubisoft Connect, make a account ( if you dont have one) and link it in the settings to your Steam account.
Then the next time you start the game from Steam it will just register it to your Ubisoft account and start.

Yep as stated you need to install ubisoft connect and make sure its up to date and linked and then it can pull the info

I'm downloading the game again, it was uninstalled, my ubi and steam are linked

so what i have to do is, start the game, and after that?

If you are already linked and it's asking for your cd key do this...

1 close the dialog boxes

2 log into ubisoft and keep it open

3 launch the game from steam

Don't just reinstall the game. Reinstall Ubisoft connect.
