Is is possible to disable trade confirmations?
I want to sell a bunch of items but don't want to constantly confirm them with the steam app, is there any way to disable this?

No and for good reason

Seems pretty stupid imo, if I need to sell items in bulk then I need to confirm every single one of them

You could remove the mobile authenticator from your account, but then you'd have to endure trade holds for up to 15 days.

Sell? I thought you were talking about trades?

Yes it seems 'stupid' that a person could hijack your account and empty it out without your consent.

Do you know if it's possible to recieve confirmations via email rather than from the app? That way it would be easier to automate

To hijack my account they would need access to my phone (due to 2fa) defeating the whole purpose of confirming trades from your phone, it would only help if steam had an XSS vulnerability

You can BUT... the items won't post to the marketplace for 15 days. So if it's time sensitive to get it posted and sold as soon as possible, you'll need to use the app.

If you removed the mobile authenticator to stop having to perform confirmations through the app, then you no longer have the benefit of 2FA.

If you're wanting a solution consider the following compromise:
Keep listing the items you want to sell regardless if they need confirmation or not. Just go through your inventory and make your listings. Then when you're done, or after you've done a large group of them, then pull pull out your phone to do the confirmations.

This is quicker than having to jump back and forth between the two for each single listing.

this is just stupid, i have 233 trading cards i try to put up, and i have to confirm every single one, and if i take them down and put them up again because someone untercut me i have to do it all over again... at least they could add a "confirm all" button

I ended up using Steam Desktop Authenticator (https://github.com/Jessecar96/SteamDesktopAuthenticator) and used a python script to auto-confirm everything

p.s sorry for necroing I just got around to reading notifications lol

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
