Game Sessions Hours (help)
Since i´ve started gaming on steam, i´ve noticed that almost always there is a gap between the hours into the game (running it on the background, idling, etc) and the hours played. I personally think that it is due to steam limiting the hours per game session. For example, i´ve been playing Dark Souls for almost 11 hours straight and the in game thing (Shift+Tab) marked as i had 35 hours in total. However, when i closed it, it only registered a few, marking as if i had 29h.
So, LSS is there a limit on game sessions? and if it is, which is it?

There is no limit to game sessions.

If you lose connection to the online services, you can lose the hours it wasn't connected.

Opening a game in the background does not bring you the expected hours in the game. The hours become active when you actually play. Opening 10 games in the background and playing a single game, only in that game the hours played are recorded.

This is incorrect. Any game open and running counts as game time. I idle some games that are short and play something else while waiting for card drops.

Wait until you see a profile with over 2k hours played the last 2 weeks.
