PS5 Controller Define Layout and the Trackpad

So i just bought a new PS5 controller it was working the trackpad would work how it is supposed to being able to click it / touch it etc on Tales of Arise. Then i tried to go into the settings on steam and messed with the layout on the Define Layout settings on big picture and ever since changing around some buttons the Trackpad just refuses to work at all outside of manually going into each options in the game and setting the seperate trackpad sections as clickable buttons. Anyone know why this is happening? How to Delete Define layout / Restore to default?

I've uninstalled the Controller and Reinstalled it multiple times but the Define Layout which i assume is steam cloud based keeps overriding the fresh install.

First see if the issue is resolved in the Steam beta. I and another found Trackpad click is not functioning in current stable client.
