HELP Directx12 / Directx8.1
Bonjour, je suis débutante. J'ai un message d'erreur, qui me dit d'avoir directx8.1 alors que j'ai directx12 d'installer. Peut on installer une version inférieure ? merci
Hello, I am a beginner. I have an error message, which tells me to have directx8.1 while I have directx12 to install. Can we install a lower version? thank you

What game are you talking about? DirectX is usually backwards compatible.

Install the DX runtime that came with the game. Usually, verifying the local game content on Steam triggers this.

Thank you for your help and interest. I found a mini guide tutorial 2021 that I tried and the game works now :-)

DirectX 12 is integrated with your windows already, which has some backwards compatibility.
