i7 3770 is at 2,071 pts
i5 8400 is at 2,396 pts
you're fine.
This is why when people say i3 i5 i7 i9 it doesn't mean anything without the gen nor model. Use the link in post #5 to compare CPUs in the future but stick to comparing Intel with Intel and AMD with AMD to avoid any cross brand biases
