How do I get TouchPad controls on Surface Pro?
Here is my scenario: I have a gaming PC running Steam at home. I have a Surface Pro with steam installed (full windows 11 install of steam). From my library on the SP I select a game that is installed on my gaming PC and then choose Stream. It launches on the SP, but does so configured for Keyboard and Mouse (or a controller if I pair one), but no matter what I try I cannot get the TouchPad controls overly to show like it would if I stream a game on my Phone via SteamLink.

How can I get the same TouchPad controls overlay to show on my Surface Pro like it does when running a game on my phone via Steam Link?

I've googled and searched forums, but thanks to the SteamDeck being a thing all the results that show up are either talking about the deck or running on a Android tablet or iPad.

Games like XCOM 2 have really good official touchpad controls designed for phones via SteamLink but no matter what I do I can't get that same overlay to show on the full Steam Install on my SP, and of course there is no Steam Link app for Windows 11 since you can just install full Steam. What am I missing here?

Thanks for any help.

Sorry, must not have gotten a message about your reply. Thanks! I'm going to try this out tonight and report back.

Update: While I got Steam Link installed on my Surface Pro, it refuses to show "Touch Controller" like it does when you run it on a phone. On the Surface Pro it simply says "No Controller Detected". Googling seems to indicate there used to be a setting for this under advance client options but it is not there on today's steam install.

If anyone can figure this out I'd appreciate it. I also replied to a post about this on the Steam Link for Windows forum (now that I know there is one) See that post here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/353380/discussions/8/3727323721757603584/
